It’s my first time trying cannabis. What should I expect?

Everybody’s experience is different, especially if you’re new.

Our biggest advice:

  • Start low and go slow
  • Ask questions
  • Don’t feel pressured to consume too much

Our team is happy to help explain different product types, effects, and consumption methods in a comfortable, judgment-free environment.

If you’re new, many people begin with lower-dose edibles, beverages, or balanced CBD/THC products.

Can you explain CBD vs THC?

THC is the primary compound associated with the “high” feeling people experience from cannabis.

CBD is non-intoxicating and is often used by people looking for relaxation, recovery, balance, or wellness support without strong psychoactive effects.

Some products contain:

  • Mostly THC
  • Mostly CBD
  • A balance of both

Our staff can help guide you toward products based on your comfort level and goals.

Are your products lab-tested?

Yes.

All products sold at Firehouse are tested through Massachusetts’ regulated cannabis system for safety, potency, and compliance before reaching our shelves.

Can I smoke cannabis at Firehouse?

No.

Consumption is not allowed inside or directly outside the store.

Please consume responsibly and follow Massachusetts laws regarding public consumption.

Why was Firehouse created?

Firehouse was created by two Boston natives directly impacted by the War on Drugs who believed the legal cannabis industry should include the communities most harmed by prohibition.

Our goal is to build more than a store — we’re building a neighborhood institution rooted in equity, culture, opportunity, and community.
